Six to Six: A Packed Staycation Day

6:30 pm Now to Museum of Arts & Design in Columbus Circle. Pay-as-you-wish night til 9pm.

Stopped at Hells' Kitchen branch of Housing Works. She bought a red vest, Me: a grey striped shirt. 5 bucks!

Joee surprised with a visit to town. We noshed & caught up. Then we headed to the Ninth Avenue Saloon for a soda. Saw Marc, Jay R, Sergio and, of course, Joe.

4:30pm Had a vegetable burrito at El Centro. Quite good!

3:30pm Now at that Grom that I just discovered this AM in Columbus Circle for a mixed cup of Milk & Mint and Chocolate Extraordinaire. FABulous!

Boxer Brief sale at JCrew at Time-Warner Center. Had a giftcard I found on the sidewalk. So two pair cost me $2 and change total. Amazing!

3 pm Just passed a flock of Little Beavers going to YMCA pool with their counselors. That was my 1st job as a teen. I hired my friend Brian, too.

Perfectly lovely day for a homeward bound afternoon stroll down Central Park West. Take my word for it...

1pm Happened upon The Ramble. Wonder if I'll see any wildlife in here? Hm... Let's try this path here...

T-Mobile's 4G Download speed on Speedtest.net Android app in front Met Museum, NYC is mere 1.10 mbps. I thought 4G was supposed to kick ass?

12 Noon. Very (overly-)friendly fellow just gave me a Jews for Jesus brochure out front of the Met Museum. I'm unimpressed.

Vegetarian lunch @ Met's Cafeteria. Today's math lesson? Salad bar .76 per pound = $12.16 per lb. So $10 bucks of food = paltry portion LOL
